Leave a legacy
Guideposts cares for people who have dementia, learning difficulties and mental health problems, often over many years. This requires long-term planning to ensure we have the resources necessary to do this. Legacies are of enormous value which help fund the nursing and social care we give to hundreds of vulnerable people each week.

Guideposts works 365 days a year, seven days a week for those who are vulnerable and frail. Small monthly donations give us the resources necessary to provide long-term help and support to people with mental health problems and people with learning difficulties. Payroll Giving
How to make a tax-free donation
Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn or GAYE) is a tax-free way of giving regularly to Guideposts, making it one of the most efficient ways of supporting us.
How Payroll Giving works
Each time you are paid, a donation is deducted by your Payroll Department before tax is calculated.
For instance, if you are a basic rate tax payer:
If you pledge £5
You pay only £3.90
The taxman will add £1.10 – at no extra cost to you!
And if you are a higher rate taxpayer then it will cost you even less to donate £5 to Guideposts.
In addition, some employers offer 'matched giving' schemes where they match or double your gift at no extra cost to you – this means even more money for the charity.
