COMMUNITY CAFE - CARERS WEEK CELEBRATION -
This years theme is UK'S SECRET SERVICE; six million people provide unpaid care to either family or friends in need of help because they are disabled, ill or fail. OVER 53,200 OF THEM LIVE HERE IN WARWICKSHIRE.
The Carers Support Service will be in the community cafe, with a display on how we can help you the unpaid carer to access different services available to you. If you bring a carer to this event who is not known to the Carer Support Service then we will offer you a free tea / coffee and cake on us. Start: 14:30

FOLDERS As the theme of Carers week is The Secret Service ( Hidden Carers) Guidepost Trust has develop a folder displaying the services available to Carers and a self referral form with prepaid envelope. 9 times out of 10, we all need to see a Doctor. In each G.P surgery in our district there will be a Guidepost Trust folder in the waiting room in an attempt to find Hidden Carers in Warwickshire..
